How to Use the Image Editor in SendSites
By Declan · Updated May 2026
Adjust, crop, and polish proposal photography directly inside SendSites using the built-in Image Editor — no external graphics software required.
The built-in Image Editor lets you crop, rotate, annotate, and style photos straight from your browser. Use it to clean up uploads and keep galleries visually consistent without leaving SendSites.
Open the image you want to edit
From your company Library or an active proposal section, click directly on the image you’d like to modify.
Launch the Image Editor
Click the Edit icon (the small pencil/slate tool) in the top-right corner of the asset view. The master Image Editor interface will open.
Crop and set an aspect ratio
Use Crop & Aspect Ratio to trim the photo to a fixed shape — Square, 4:3, or 16:9.
When images sit together in a gallery or carousel, crop each one to the same aspect ratio. Uniform dimensions make the layout look intentional and polished.
Fix orientation
Use the Flip controls to mirror the image horizontally or vertically, or drag the Rotate slider to straighten a crooked upload.
Add overlays and shapes
The Draw tool adds freehand markings. Shape masks the image into a rectangle, circle, or triangle. The Icon tray stamps vector elements directly onto the photo.
Add text to the image
Open the Text tool to type onto the image. You can set Bold, Italic, or Underline, adjust size and color, and align text left, center, or right.
Apply styling and effects
Use the Mask/Border generator to reshape the photo’s frame. The Filter/Blur tab includes presets like Grayscale, Invert, Sepia, Sharpen, and Emboss, plus brightness and noise adjustments.
Undo, redo, or start over
The left side of the formatting panel has Undo, Redo, and Delete controls. Experiment freely — your changes don’t overwrite the original asset until you save.
Filters and overlays are non-destructive until you save, so it’s safe to try different looks before committing.
Save your changes
When the image looks the way you want, click Save. The updated asset will appear across your layout immediately.
Confirming your changes
After saving, scroll back through the proposal section or gallery where the image appears. If you cropped to a consistent aspect ratio, your gallery should now line up cleanly across every tile.
