How to Save a Section in SendSites

By Declan · Updated May 2026

Save an individual layout section to your asset library so you can drop it into future proposals. Learn how to save, update, and organize sections into folders.

Saving a section preserves a single content block — a meeting agenda, an attractions grid, a ballroom feature card — so you or your team can reuse it in any future proposal. Unlike saving a full template, this captures just the block you want.

Select the content block

Locate the row or block you want to save and click inside it to enter edit mode. The active section is outlined with a blue border.

Open the save dialog

In the floating formatting toolbar in the upper-right corner of the active section, click the cloud icon.

Name the section and set sharing

Type a clear name for the asset (for example, Meeting Agenda). If you want teammates to be able to use this block in their own proposals, check Share with the rest of your organization. Click Save.

Tip

Sharing is what makes the section available to the rest of your team. Leave it unchecked to keep the section private to you.

Update a saved section

If you tweak the copy or formatting later, click the cloud icon again. When the name matches an existing asset, you’ll be prompted to Overwrite the saved version with your latest revisions.

Organize into folders with a slash

To route a section into a folder, type the folder name, a forward slash, and then the asset name when you save — for example, venues/Urban Ballroom. The folder is created automatically inside your Company Library if it doesn’t already exist, and the section is nested inside it.

Note

You can use the same syntax to drop new sections into existing folders. Match the folder name exactly to avoid creating a duplicate.

Keeping your library tidy

A consistent folder convention pays off as the library grows. Group sections by venue, room type, buyer segment, or proposal stage — whatever matches how your team searches. Administrators can use the same slash syntax to curate a clean, browsable library for the whole sales team.
