How to Delete a Template

By Declan · Updated June 2026

Remove an unused or outdated template from your organization's shared library. Requires Master or Admin access.

Templates live in your organization’s shared library and can be removed by Master or Admin users. Deleting a template doesn’t affect any SendSites already built from it.

Open your Dashboard

Sign in as a Master or Admin user. You’ll land on the Dashboard by default.

Open the library menu

In the top bar, click the folder icon between Switch Profile and the gear icon. A dropdown appears with Images, Videos, Documents, Sections, and Templates.

Select Templates

Click Templates from the dropdown. This opens the Manage your organization’s page Templates view, where all shared templates are listed.

Find the template you want to delete

Scroll through the organization-shared folder or use the Search field in the top right to locate the template.

Click the trash can icon

Hover over the template’s thumbnail. A toolbar appears across the top of the preview — click the trash can icon in the top right corner to delete it.

Warning

Deletion is permanent. Once a template is removed from the shared library, it can’t be restored — though any SendSites previously created from it will continue to work.

Confirming the template is gone

After deleting, the template disappears from the Manage your organization’s page Templates view immediately. If you don’t see the change, refresh the page.
