How to Move and Delete Sections in SendSites
By Declan · Updated May 2026
Rearrange the order of sections in your proposal or remove the ones you don't need, using drag handles and the section toolbar.
SendSites proposals are built from stackable content sections, so reshaping a page is mostly a matter of dragging blocks into a new order or deleting the ones that don’t fit your client. This guide covers both.
Select the section you want to move
Scroll to the section you want to reorder and click anywhere inside it. The section container will highlight in blue to confirm it’s selected.
Find the drag handle
Look at the bottom-right corner of the highlighted section. You’ll see a small directional drag icon attached to the block.
Drag the section into place
Click and hold the drag handle, then move the section up or down the page. Release when the section snaps into its new position.
Zoom out for long-distance moves
If you need to move a section a long way — for example, from the bottom of the proposal to the top — zoom your browser out to 50% or 60% first. The shorter visible page makes it much faster to drag a section across the full document without scrolling.
Reset your browser zoom to 100% once the section is in place so you’re editing at normal scale again.
Select a section to delete
Click the section you want to remove so it highlights in blue. A floating formatting toolbar will appear in the top-right corner of the section.
Click the trash can icon
In that toolbar, find the trash can icon and click it. A confirmation prompt will appear asking Delete this section?
Confirm the deletion
Click the red Delete button to confirm. The section is removed and the sections below shift up to close the gap.
Between reordering and deleting, you can quickly trim a baseline template down to exactly the story your client needs to see — Accommodations above Meeting Agenda, unused venue options removed, and everything in the order your buyer will read it.
