How to Add and Edit Images

By Declan · Updated May 2026

Add, replace, and configure images in your proposal — including slideshows and crop settings — using your shared image library.

Images carry most of the visual weight in a proposal. Here’s how to swap them, upload new ones, and set how they display to your recipient.

Open the section in edit mode

Find the section of your proposal that contains the image you want to change, then click it to enter edit mode.

Open your image library

Click the existing photo or placeholder. Your company’s shared image library opens, showing files your team has already uploaded.

Select an existing image or upload new ones

Pick a file from the library, or click Add New Image to upload one or more files directly from your computer.

Tip

When uploading, share the image with the rest of your organization so your team can reuse it in future proposals.

Choose how the image displays

Configure the display behavior by choosing Default Zoom, Link, or Slideshow. Default Zoom shows a single image that expands on click, Link makes the image clickable to a URL, and Slideshow lets you stack multiple images in one spot.

Build a slideshow (optional)

If you want to showcase several pictures in the same place, select Slideshow and add the images you want included. Recipients can cycle through them in the proposal.

Crop images for consistency

Use the built-in crop tool to set each image to the same dimensions. This is especially important for slideshows — uniform crops make the sequence look clean and professional instead of jumpy.

Note

Cropping doesn’t alter the original file in your library — only how the image appears in this proposal.

Once you’re done

Your changes save automatically as you work. Preview the proposal to check that images load at the right size and that any slideshows cycle the way you expect before sending.
