How to Add Jump Links to SendSites Proposals
By Declan · Updated May 2026
Add a Jump Navigation block to your proposal so buyers can skip directly to pricing, room blocks, menus, or any other section.
Long corporate RFPs and multi-day event proposals are easier to read when buyers can jump straight to the section they care about. Jump Navigation adds an anchor menu at the top of your proposal and links it to the sections you flag below.
Add the Jump Navigation block
At the top of your layout, click Add a Section and select Jump Navigation. This places a dynamic table of contents on the page. You can rename the block’s title (for example, Table of Contents), but leave the list itself alone — SendSites builds the links automatically as you flag sections below.
Don’t try to edit the list items or links inside the Jump Navigation block by hand. They’re generated from the flags you set on each section.
Open the section you want to link to
Scroll down to the first section you want buyers to jump to — pricing, room blocks, menus, whatever your anchor points are. Click into the section to enter edit mode.
Flag the section as an anchor
In the floating formatting toolbar on the right side of the active section, click the Flag Icon. In the text field that appears, type the label you want shown in the navigation (for example, Your Event, Lodging, or Details), then check Add to navigation.
Repeat for every section you want in the menu
Work down the page and flag each major milestone the same way. Use short, buyer-friendly labels — they’ll appear exactly as you type them.
Publish to preview the live menu
The Jump Navigation links won’t look functional inside the editor. Click Next / Publish to generate the live link, then open it to confirm the menu populates with your labels and each one jumps to the correct section.
To remove a section from the menu later, click into the block, open its flag settings, and uncheck Add to navigation.
What buyers see
On the published proposal, Jump Navigation sits at the top of the screen as a sticky overlay. Clicking a label — Room Types, Pricing, Menus — smoothly scrolls the buyer to that exact section. It works the same on desktop and mobile, which makes a big difference on longer proposals where scrolling becomes a barrier.
