How to Add Sections to SendSites Proposals

By Declan · Updated May 2026

Add new content blocks or pre-built library sections to a SendSites proposal or master template using the top toolbar or inline insertion.

SendSites proposals are built by stacking modular sections rather than designing pages from scratch. There are two ways to add sections: append from the top toolbar, or insert inline at a specific spot on the page.

Method 1: Append from the top toolbar

Use this method when you want to add a section to the end of your proposal.

Open the section picker

At the top of the editor, click Add a Section. A layout window opens with your options.

Choose a starter or library section

Select a blank Starter Section — such as a text block, single photo, or video — or switch to the Company Library tab to browse your organization’s pre-built sections.

Insert the section

Click the section you want. It appends to the bottom of your proposal workspace automatically.

Method 2: Insert inline at a specific spot

Use inline insertion when you want a new section to land in a particular place — for example, dropping room configurations directly beneath your lodging overview. You can insert one section at a time, or batch-insert several at once.

Click the inline Add a Section button

Scroll to the spot where you want the new content to appear. Click the blue Add a Section button anchored directly beneath that row.

Open the library folder you want

The layout drawer slides open. Click into your library tabs and open the relevant folder — for example, your Lodging or Accommodations directory.

Insert a single section, or switch on multi-select

If you only need one section, click it to insert it immediately. To add several sections at once, toggle on Select Multiple at the top right of the drawer.

Tip

Multi-select is the fastest way to populate an RFP response with pre-approved room types or property media in one pass.

Batch insert your selections

With multi-select on, click each section you want to add — for example Deluxe King, Double Queen, and Executive Suite — then click Insert Selected. All chosen sections load into your proposal in the spot you selected.

Confirming the result

New sections appear in your proposal immediately and are ready to edit. You can reorder them at any time by dragging, and the same two methods work in master templates as well as active proposals.
