How to Add Read More Functionality in SendSites

Collapse long descriptions, bios, and policy lists behind a Read More link to keep your proposal scannable while keeping the details available.
Long descriptions, multi-paragraph bios, and exhaustive policy lists can overwhelm a proposal page. The Read More toggle keeps those sections tidy by collapsing the body of the text behind a link the client can expand inline.
Select the text block
Click directly inside the text section containing the long block of copy to enter edit mode. The editing toolbar will appear at the top of the section.
Find the Read More icon
In the editing toolbar, locate the Read More icon. It uses a text-collapse symbol to indicate the truncation behavior.
Enable the toggle
Click the icon to turn the Read More behavior on. SendSites handles the truncation point automatically — you don’t need to choose where the cutoff lands.
You can toggle the icon off the same way if you’d rather show the full text again.
Preview the client view
Click Preview to check the live layout. The section will show only the first few lines followed by a Read More link. When the client clicks it, the frame expands inline and the link becomes Read Less so they can collapse it again.
Why this matters for the buyer
Clients skim proposals before they read them. Collapsing long copy keeps the page scannable so prospects can reach pricing tables, room blocks, and other decision points without scrolling past dense paragraphs. The details are still one click away when they want them.
