How to Add a Video to SendSites Proposals

By Declan · Updated May 2026

Add a video section to your proposal and pull content from your media library or paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook.

Video brings a property to life in a way still images can’t. Here’s how to drop a video section into your proposal and connect it to a file in your library or an external link.

Insert a video section

While editing your layout, click Add a Section and choose Video from the starter layout options. A default video placeholder will appear on the page.

Activate the section

Click the new video section to highlight it and enter edit mode.

Open the media library

Click inside the placeholder video block. A Browse Library Videos panel opens, showing the videos already saved to your company library. You can pick an existing asset here or add a new one.

Add a new video by link

To embed a new video, click Add New in the bottom-right of the library panel. Paste a URL from YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook into the field that appears, then click Save.

Tip

Use the highest-quality public link available. Unlisted YouTube and Vimeo links work well when you don’t want the video discoverable outside the proposal.

Select the video to embed

Your new video now appears as a tile in the library list. Click Select on the video you want to feature, and it will embed directly into the proposal page.

Confirming it looks right

Preview the proposal before sending to make sure the video loads and plays as expected. If the embed looks empty or shows an error, the source link is usually private or has been removed — paste a fresh URL and try again.
