How to manage visit notifications
By Theron · Updated April 2026
Turn on email alerts so you know when recipients open and view your SendSites, and learn how to mute notifications on individual pages.
Visit notifications email you whenever a recipient opens one of your SendSites. Here’s how to turn them on as your account default and how to silence them on individual pages when you don’t need the noise.
Open your profile settings
Click your avatar in the top right of the header to jump straight to Settings. The My Profile tab opens by default.
You can also reach Settings by clicking the gear icon in the header.
Scroll to Notifications/Emails
Under the Options section, find the Notifications/Emails group. Look for the Visit Notifications row.
Enable visit notifications
Check the box next to Send me an email notification when any of my contacts visit their pages. With this on, you’ll receive an email every time a recipient opens one of your SendSites.
Need to silence notifications for one specific proposal — say, an internal test or a high-traffic page? You can mute notifications on a per-SendSite basis from the dashboard without changing your account default.
Save your changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save and Apply. Your default applies to every SendSite on your account going forward.
Once visit notifications are on, expect an email shortly after each recipient opens a SendSite. If you stop seeing them, revisit Settings → My Profile and confirm the Visit Notifications box is still checked.
